Beth has always been a communicator. She’s written copy and stories, she’s engaged audiences, she’s developed events, and basically, she’s done nothing else but bring people together.
For the past 20 years Beth has worked in all facets of event management, marketing and content development. Predominately her career has been in researching and writing event content and then developing all concepts of marketing to promote the event. She has worked for all sectors creating and delivering marketing and event strategies in the corporate B2B, B2C, and non-profit sectors.
In addition to her event experience, Beth is now a budding author. She is working on a couple of books while continuing to engage with her local community and continue to work as an influential communicator.
For the past 20 years, Beth has worked launching Global B2B, B2C and non-profit events in the USA, Australia, and Singapore. She is a master at creating and marketing educational forums for delegates to learn, have fun and network. Her new company MagentaPen, will house her event business, allowing her to create events for clients and consumers alike.
Event Executive (CEO)
Most recently in Australia, Beth launched a new type of event company, “The Insight Exchange”, with her mentor, futurist Ross Dawson. She interviewed a number of high profile business executives bringing them together to create a new forum that focuses on sharing knowledge amongst everyone. As CEO, Beth oversaw the content, operations, and creation of this new company.
Event Producer, Online & Offline Marketer

From 2006 – 2009 Beth launched the Global digital advertising event ad:tech into Sydney, Australia and Singapore.
She launched the event into two new markets managing the entire conference program, the marketing P&L, creating and executing both the digital and offline marketing program, and executing on-site logistics. Her passion for creating an educational event shined as she interviewed and recruited over 120 speakers including a number of International Keynotes. The event was a success in its launch year bringing in close to 800 delegates.
Along with producing ad:tech, Beth launched the iMedia Brand Summit and the iMedia Agency Summit in Australia. These invite-only events bring together both marketers and agency executives in a closed environment allowing them to share ideas, network, and hear from top international speakers. Beth was responsible for managing all facets of these events including the research of delegates, the marketing program, as well as the event agenda.
Master of Ceremonies – Hostess -Speaker

After spending a number of years behind and in front of an audience Beth understands that a good MC needs to engage.
By running and MC’ing the iMedia Brand Summits and the iMedia Agency Summits for ad:tech in 2007 & 2008 as well as hosting all The Insight Exchange Events in 2009, Beth understands the importance of being a participant and how that impacts the learning from the event. With a BA Degree in English, an English Certificate from Cambridge University in England and an MBA in Marketing, Beth has always found writing to be an important way to communicate. Through creating stories, studying Dickens, and writing marketing and event copy, Beth has continuously used content in her daily life. Her new company MagentaPen, will house her content business, allowing her to interview and meet amazing individuals, create an outlet for her writing and develop a community around positive messaging.
Interviewer & Content Executive
For the past 20 years Beth has interviewed a number of business and creative executives to create inspiring and educational event content. She’s produced content around new technology, business success, and non-profit initiatives gaining insight into how to individuals and companies overcome challenges. She is now using that skill to build a business, called “Getting2Know“ which will be a part of her publishing company, Magenta Pen, launching in 2012.
Aspiring Author
It took a battle with post natal depression, after her first child was born, to bring Beth back to her roots. She majored in Creative Writing in University and decided to get involved with the New South Wales Writing Center in Sydney to tap back into her love for creative writing. It only took one class on Picture Book Writing to have her realise her love for the process of writing. Through her company MagentaPen, Beth will be publishing her three children’s books. She is currently in the process of finishing the third in the series while working on her first novel. This will be interesting.

A self taught photographer, inspired by Irish photographer Giles Norman, Beth has two images, Two Friends and View to the Sea, produced by her agent Roaring Brook Art Company in the USA. They are sold through the giant retailers Target and Khols across the country.


Beth continues to shoot in Black and White however, is no longer developing film and has moved to digital. Her time in the darkroom has taught her a great deal about the B&W medium. She continues to shoot and looks forward to hopefully having more of her images published in the future.
